If you haven’t made it out to your local post office this week, you may not know that the Simpsons are gracing the front of a new line of stamps honoring the yellow family’s record setting 20th season. To welcome the new stamps to the world, a little party was held on the Fox lot, complete with cotton candy and hot dogs, a Springfield delicacy.

Nancy was there to sign a giant copy of her (Bart’s) stamp and friend of the show and voice of Sideshow Bob, Kelsey Grammer, MCed the event. It was a wonderful unveiling of the only stamp for a television show that is still on air in prime time and over one BILLION of the stamps have already been issued.

We wonder: if you add up every frame in every second of every episode of the Simpsons and the Simpsons Movie, would there be more frames of the Simpsons or Simpsons stamps? Math-geeks, have at it.
