Happy House Party Better Than Ever – 18. April, 2009
We should have known when the June-gloom-like clouds didn’t rear their ugly heads for a sixth day in a row that we were in for something special. Saturday, April 25th was the first sunny day all week, perfect poker and BBQ weather and Happy House was able to make the most of it. (more…)
All In for Pets – 18. April, 2009
On Friday, April 17th at the Venetian Poker Room in Las Vegas, Nancy Cartwright and her company President, Peter Kjenaas, joined a field of nearly 200 for Jennifer Harmon’s Third Annual Texas Hold ‘Em tournament to benefit the Nevada SPCA.
This “no kill” shelter is a great example of what can be done when a community bands together to help bring a positive solution to a very persistent problem. (more…)
Bart Rolls out Simpsons Stamps – 18. April, 2009
If you haven’t made it out to your local post office this week, you may not know that the Simpsons are gracing the front of a new line of stamps honoring the yellow family’s record setting 20th season. To welcome the new stamps to the world, a little party was held on the Fox lot, complete with cotton candy and hot dogs, a Springfield delicacy. (more…)
