The Valley Economic Alliance has announced the honorees of its “Valley of the Stars” awards, which recognize individuals, businesses and organizations that have made substantial contributions to the San Fernando Valley.
The organization offers the awards in the areas of arts and entertainment, business and education, according to a statement released by the organization. The winners are also required to have contributed to the growth and vitality of the San Fernando Valley region. (more…)

The Good Choices Toolkit, which has been in development for over a year now, is finally available for sale. The kit can be found at www.GoodChoicesProgram.org along with a ton of information about how the kit started and other resources for teachers or parents delivering the program.
After months of pilot testing, we are proud to say that we have a program that is incredibly effective at helping children learn to positively affect their environments by understanding the responsibility that comes along with being a decision maker and grasping the gravity and importance of making good choices.
