Mrs. B Predicts for the Bay Area – 10. March, 2007

Our favorite spiritual guide, Brenda Kelly, is prognosticating for television. KTVU Channel 2, a FOX affiliate station in the Bay Area, has launched a new show called Trackside at Infineon Raceway.

The show features several segments weekly and offers everything from driver interviews to pit talk; a look at last weeks race to a prediction for upcoming race. This is where our darling Brenda comes in. Voiced by Kath Soucie, a decorated voice-actor, Brenda interprets the signs and announces the winner…hopefully.

See how right she is at the following times and dates.

Create Unique Marketing Channel for Sponsors, Advertisers

LOS ANGELES, CA – December 7, 2006

SportsBlast, a producer of innovative online entertainment founded by Nancy “voice-of-Bart-Simpson” Cartwright, and NASCAR development driver Kenton Gray announced today a strategic marketing alliance set to launch immediately. This cross-promotional alliance, the first of its kind, brings together a campaign package featuring traditional on-track promotions and mainstream marketing as well as dynamic on-line placements in the racing show, The Kellys. This exposure greatly exceeds the penetration and measurability of other sponsorship programs.

Developed and produced in association with Turner Sports, The Kellys is the first animated series to take fans behind-the-scenes and into the heart of a stock car racing family. The all-new 2007 season of The Kellys will feature new content with a topical flair. (more…)

Nancy Cartwright Wins the Nextel Cup – 31. October, 2006

Nextel-CupWell…not quite yet, but this Sunday afternoon at California’s Irwindale Speedway Ms. Cartwright will be one step closer than the rest of us to that illustrious crown. Following a day of training and rigorous testing, Nancy will have her NASCAR driver’s license.

This is an honor, as you may know, shared by the elite (crazy) few, who thirst for speed. And, now, the voice of our favorite, spiky-headed ten-year-old joins that prestigious (insane) fraternity.

Leading Nancy to the “promised land” will be the driver of the #27 ARCA RE/MAX Series car, Kenton Gray. These two recently joined forces when FMG Racing and Team Kelly Racing founded a marketing alliance to promote Mr. Gray’s competition car and Nancy’s animated series, The Kellys.

Kenton, who has been driving competitively since the age of ten, will begin the training by giving Nancy some driving tips, but you can be sure she’ll have a thing or two to say after she gets her license.

Kellys Biggest Fan Sweepstakes Winner has the Time of his Life! – 25. February, 2006

teamkelly-spokesmanJason White and sister Kelly joined Nancy and the SportsBlast team at the track to enjoy a full weekend of events as winners of the Kellys Sweepstakes.

Jason was our big sweeps winner, chosen at random from among nearly 20,000 entrants gathered in less than a three week period.

He hails from New Orleans and “lost everything” in the one two punch of Katrina and Rita. “This couldn’t have come at a better time,” said Jason when he got over the idea that the call to tell him he was in victory lane was a prank. “Are you for real?! I’ve never won anything in my life.”

It was about as real as it could get and the Kellys team at provided Jason and his guests with tickets to all the races from the Gatorade 125s through the Daytona 500. But it’s all about access! In addition, Jason was able to get a tour of the garage area and even get into a practice session when the pit was hot.

Nancy and Kellys producer Peter Kjenaas toured around the track with Jason and Kelly on both Saturday and Sunday, taking in the infield, Fan Zone and even the Television compound.

“I don’t want to go home!” said Jason. It’s easy to see why that would be since, like so many others in New Orleans, home is a big unknown.
