Nancy Cartwright sponsored the luncheon again this year at the 3rd annual Holiday Christmas Party for the kids and families of the LAUSD Migrant Workers Program. Produced by the non-profit FITE! (Family Improvement Through Education) over 300 attended, partaking in arts and crafts, storytelling, make-up and styling make-overs and a great lunch.
The main show, emceed by Happy House ED Peter Kjenaas, featured games and song, classic Christmas Carols, an acting troupe, a number of dances including a performance by an extraordinary trio of Zonnie Bauer dancers, which featured teenage dancer, Mikaela Kjenaas—Peter’s daughter! Storytelling by award winning actress, Michelle Kjenaas. And, capping it off was a performance by Nancy herself!
The Holiday bash was of course visited by Santa, who with Nancy and many volunteers from community groups and gave out 300 gifts!
