In News, The Simpsons

By Ian Mohr

Among the many stars in Cannes this week was one of the world’s most famous TV voices. Nancy Cartwright — Bart Simpson on “The Simpsons” since 1989 — was in France pumping an upcoming feature film, “In Search of Fellini.”

It’s based on her one-woman show and follows Cartwright before she made it in show business, trying to track down Federico Fellini in Italy in her 20s.

She played 14 different characters in the ’90s play.

The film’s currently casting, she told us. Cartwright was schmoozing with financiers, and we spotted her at David Unger’s bash for Roc Nation-affiliated firm Three Six Zero Group, along with U2 manager Paul McGuinness, Noomi Rapace and Natalia Vodianova.
