KSENIA SOLO, MARY LYNN RAJSKUB, MARIA BELLO TO STAR IN ‘IN SEARCH OF FELLINI’ (EXCLUSIVE)

The film centers on one girl’s journey searching for the legendary Italian filmmaker.

Ksenia Solo, Mary Lynn Rajskub and Maria Bello are going In Search of Fellini.

The actresses have been cast in the coming-of-age drama, which will be directed by Taron Lexton, with a script from Nancy Cartwright and Peter Kjenaas.

In Search of Fellini follows one girl’s journey searching for the legendary Italian filmmaker, Frederico Fellini.

Cartwright, who is best known as the voice of Bart Simpson in the long-running TV show The Simpsons, will also executive produce the film under her Spotted Cow Studio production banner. Peter Kjenaas, Taron Lexton, Nathan Lorch, Milena Ferreira and Michael Doven are also producing.

Principal photography for In Search of Fellini has already begun, with plans to shoot in Cleveland, Ohio as well as Venice, Verona, Milan and Rome.

“This is a 30-year-labor-of-love,” says Cartwright. “Finding and working with Taron, Mary Lynn, Maria, Ksenia and this particular crew has made this a real dream-come-true.”

Solo was previously in Black Swan and had a reoccurring role in Orphan Black. She is currently filming the psychological thriller Pet. She’s repped by Kirk Talent and Amanda Partners.

Rajskub is best known for her role in 24. The actress has appeared in many critically acclaimed indies, including The Kings of Summer and Safety Not Guaranteed, and can be seen in this month’s Sex, Death and Bowling. She’s repped by Innovative Artists and Principato-Young Entertainment.

Bello recently appeared in the Kevin Costner real life drama, McFarland, USA and can be seen in the upcoming film Late Bloomer, alongside J.K. Simmons and Jane Lynch. She’s repped by CAA and John Carrabino Management.
