Over the decades of The Simpsons, countless celebrities appeared vocally as guests. In season 3, episode 1, Michael Jackson did a guest turn. He played a 300-pound mental patient by the name of Michael Jackson. Homer met this character after getting committed to a mental hospital when Bart took a mental stability test for him.
In the decades of The Simpson’s famous opening sequence, the couch gag, the family always (mostly) ends up on the couch in front of the TV. Homer gets the remote. But not this time!
